Skin fade or taper?
Skin fade
Bald fade blended to any length on top. The sides and back go down to the skin, then blend up into whatever length you keep on top. Ask for a low, mid or high fade depending on where you want the blend to start.
Taper fade
Low or mid taper, clean around the ears and neck. A taper keeps more length on the sides and only shortens around the ears and neckline, so it grows out more gradually than a skin fade.
Add a design

How we cut a fade
Every fade starts with a quick talk: how high you want it, how tight on the sides, and how much you want left on top. Your barber sets a guide line, then works up from the skin or from a short guard in small steps so there is no visible line where one length meets the next.
We finish the top with clippers or shears depending on the style, clean up the edges with a trimmer, and lock in the neckline and around the ears. If you want the line-up razor sharp, just ask. A fresh fade usually holds its shape for about two to three weeks, so a lot of our regulars book on a two-week schedule to keep it looking new.
